Social Media Strategist
Robbin Reay is an established radio host, television personality, Youtuber, and social media strategist from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. With over 10 years of experience working in public media, she has successfully hosted radio and television programs in some of Canada's largest markets and currently acts as CEO of her freelance social media marketing company SPADE Social Strategy.
Currently, Robbin hosts the Afternoon Drive Show on KiSS 105.3 Ottawa with co-host Ryan Lindsay on 'The Robbin & Ryan Show'. You'll also find Robbin guest hosting on Rogers Daytime TV which broadcasts locally in the Ottawa area. On August 25th 2019, Robbin hosted the 2019 Capital Pride Parade live TV broadcast on Rogers TV Ottawa which broke attendance and viewer records.
Previously, Robbin held the role of Assistant Music Director and host of the Mid-Day Show on the top-rated 97.5 Virgin Radio London, as well as the Evening Host on Windsor/Detroit's famous 89X Alternative Rock station.
Her experience in radio also includes hosting the Afternoon Drive show on up! 99.3 Edmonton from 2010 - 2017, Mid-days on up! 97.7 Calgary from 2011-2017, and a syndicated evening show on SunFM-branded stations across the entire province of British Columbia. In 2011, she was noted as the youngest female radio broadcaster in Canada to host 2 major-market radio shows at one time (Edmonton/Calgary).
Through digital media production and marketing, she has helped affiliated companies make an engaging impact online, and has also hosted several TV programs which have aired on both local television stations and web-based channels. Her freelance company SPADE Social Strategy was launched in December of 2017 and has since been featured in Ottawa Neighbours Magazine, Business London Magazine, and Rebel Kin's International blog.
In 2018, Robbin launched her Youtube channel 'Robbin Gets Real' in partnership with MTKS Adventures. The channel was designed to capture Robbin's over-the-top reactions to new adventures and behind-the-scenes experiences in the radio & television industry alongside videographer Matt Belyea.
